What two sit-com actors did drum solos during an episode of their shows ?
(hint...both sit-coms were based on "war stories").
Come on now...!
This could be the coolest thread on the sight!!!
Get with the program!!!
SHEEEZ!!!
dont have a clue but ill take a gess. the guy name radar and alan alda
Close...you got one of them. Gary Burgoff played "Radar O'Reilly" in M*A*S*H. He did a drum solo in one of the episodes. The Solo was a swing beat with a Gene Krupa feel. Not bad for as guy that only has 1/2 of his left hand. And he plays traditonal grip with that 1/2 hand. Do you know the other "war story" show where the star does a drum solo? (hint: it took place in Germany).
I sure am lonely in this thread. And there are like a billion pieces of drum trivia out there ! For example...RUSH had over 100 drummers scheduled for the audition to replace John Rutsy...What number was Neil Peart?
Come on guys...I'm dyin' in here !

i don't have the luxery of enough time to mess with trivial pursuit
You have to at least answer your two questions; what # was Neil Peart? The other war sitcom... was it Hogan's Heros?

That's right...Bob Crane (who played Col. Hogan) was a huge Buddy Rich fan. He played a drum solo on an episode of Hogan's Heros. He was also later murdered in a hotel room...real drag.
Neil Peart was the 3rd drummer to audition out of over 100. After him, the rest of the auditons were cancelled.
