    Hello everyone,
I have not been on here for sometime (for like ever)...been busy with things in my life. I am wondering if anyone can recommend to me some good books I can "work on my tom technique"?

Welcome back! - I've never heard of "tom technique" specifically but I think you're referring to fill ideas. Most ideas are played from the snare drum as rudimental patterns. You can get some ideas by taking standard drum rudiments and working them around the toms, then incorporate the snare, cymbals, etc. You'll find a ton of drum technique books at drumsetbooks.com. It's one of Drum Bum's sites.
