    I'd bet the first drummers in the world used syncopation. They were probably pioneered with Jazz or Latin, but I'm not quite sure cause I don't play either of those on a regular basis.

    I'm guessing probably tribal drumming like thousands of years ago lol

    If you wanna hear syncopation, listen to pretty much any funk :P
