    Default OMG the Choices!

So If you had the choice between a 1996 Pearl Masterworks with a rack and hardware and maybe a snare or some cymbals or a pretty much new yahmaha absolute ( not sure the exact models ) with just the shells which would you choose? Both sound awesome but I think I like the yahmaha alittle more.

eons, beware of what you are buying for pearl did not start making masterworks kits until 1999. but even if is a 96 "masters" it will be a nice kit.
if it comes with quality cymbals hardware ect. i would prolly go with that.
however yamaha oak, maple, birch or beech custom absolute neuvou(sp) kits are also top notch.

Yea I wasn't sure the exact model names there both are birch and both are really nice probaly just going to go with yahmaha anyways I like it soooooo much. I'm not actually buying it, its more of a trade but I've played them both and they sound great. Thanks for the replies BTW

you wont be sorry either way, the rack and hardware would be the main kicker for me but if it were shell pack to shell pack i would prolly pick the newer kit too.
