Default I have 2 Z Customs for sale

Hello everyone I have 2 Z Custom Zildjian cymbals up for sale.

I have a 17" Medium crash, has a 1" hairline crack between the bell and the outer edge, asking $35 the sound has not been effected by this small crack, and the rest of the cymbal is great.

I also have an 18" Z custom rock crash, this crash has a 2" crack in about the same place as the 17" crash, I don't have a picture of this(but I can if you are interested), but if you watch any of my videos it is the cymbal right above my first tom, as you can hear it still sounds awesome, I am asking $40 for it.

I can ship them anywhere in the US for $15ea or 22.50 for both and can except paypal for payment.

Here is the picture of the 17"

im starting to think zil. and paiste intentionally make z customs and rudes brittle. they are marketed for heavy music yet cant take a beating at all. the only cymbals i ever broke were z cust. and rudes. i hit my 18" med and med thin avedis crashes hard as hell and they show no signs of cracking. i realize alot of people (not all) that buy them are noobs with bad technique but they should still be able to take it.

I remember hearing somewhere that the Z customs are just too heavy

Like, someone said their so heavy, and they dont flex, and the weight, plus the force makes the cymbal vunerable to cracking

I think it might of been these boards

Probably me. I cracked an 18 Z custom crash recently, and the bloke I took it to get fixed said something along the lines of: "They're too heavy for their own good", implication being that the weight of the cymbal makes them inflexible.

I dunno. I still use them.

all i know is that zildjian is the majority choice so something must be good about them. i like a real heavy crash and a light hat, just my style

Same here. I love the Z custom crashes - they cut through (and in punk and metal you really need that) and do take one hell of a beating.

But I've got a set of dyno-beat hi-hats, and they're just too heavy to be much good for anything but sloshy half-open riding. They lack finesse and delicate response. So I use a different set of hi-hats.
