    Default Koko needs some live sound advice

    hey guys im kinda new here so i hope im posting this in the right area. my band is recently starting to get noticed and i wanna blow people away with how my kit sounds. i recently just got a laptop and i was wondering if there was a program that i could hook up my drum triggers and module too so i can run everything right next to me during live shows?

    Well.. there is. You'll need a midi interface, a DAW such as pro tools, cakewalk, etc, and a VST instrument set such as BFD, Superior Drummer, DFH, and so on.
    You want to do a little research and see what's going to work with your laptop's port. operating system... and what work well together.
    I use a lot of M-Audio stuff... soundcards, midi interfaces, and microphone interfaces... combined with Pro Tools M-Powered software and it's pretty reliable and stable.

    hm.. now could i use that or is itfor recording? i was told really only pro tools for recording
