I got bored so I created a Frankenstein E-kit

The Tama pads are very hard. No rebound of "feel" whatsoever! Beneath the black drum head is a piece of cheap plywood backing. It feels like hitting a wooden desk top.

It is probably great practicing on these. I bet it really builds your chops.

I've moved the kit into my ECX double bass set up so the wiring process begins this week! I'll try to get something up by this weekend. Thanks!
