Default Looking for latin drumming/percussion resources

My band is nearly finished mastering our first album. I have been asked to start working on a tribal/latin drum groove to incorporate into a song as a drum solo section for our next album.

I have no background in Latin percussion. But I'm looking for a free resource that can start me on some killer Latin beats. Any suggestions?

The only two constants I have are DW and Zildjian.

I would start with Drum Bum's free drum lessons area. Search under "Latin" and related words. (Drum Bum owns this forum by the way)

Next, I would go over to Grooveshark.com and put in the word "Latin" or "Salsa" and let that stuff melt into you. You'll get tons of ideas if you just absorb it.
