    the retard prolly held the snare up on it's side and thought that the heads where the side

    Thunder, "snare side" refers to the bottom snare head. Its also called the "resonant" head.

    Drummer nailed this one, the snare side head is exactly that, the head that the snares are on, usually a very thin head.
