Don't think so. It's just from being active. You'd feel the same way after running.
After drumming so much recently I find I feel like I ALWAYS need to stretch and it is SO uncomfortable. Is there something going on here?

Sounds normal to me. Any amount of physical excercise will require some pre and post stretching.
Pre-stretching helps you warm up your muscles before you play, and post-stretching helps them cool off afterward...so stretch away, man!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

I thought so but I wanted to make sure. Thanks guys, you rule!
Except you, Shabutie, just because you're not humble about it :P
Once in a while I fell like I have never stretched enough, I credit it to a lack of nutrition. Usually missing something from the diet that needs replenishing. I do a once a year detox to clean the old system out, makes ya feel like a new person.
What do you mean by detox?
