let's celebrate!...drink up all...all that is over age that is..
yes lets celebrate!
i'm happy for you lezzle.
my back hurts when i sit for like 2 hours or so. but to cure that i am told to do back exercises. and take a break. but usually i only sit for an hour drumming. but for practices it takes us 2 hours or so to get through everything as a band that is. and so just take like a 20 minute break after every hour. or i lean up on the wall behind me and play. that works too.
Greetings fellow drummers, I just found this forum and thought I'd jump in.
Walking, hiking and/or jogging (depending on your sate of fitness) will not only strenghten your legs, but also your back muscles and abdomen which help support your back.
I started walking and hiking just over a year ago and my back pain has disappeared and I have also lost a bunch of weight.
I read some where that Lars Ulrich from Metallica runs five miles per day while on tour.

YOU GUYS AND GALS ARE ALL WIMPS.
J/k, j/k...
When I'm drumming really fast, sometimes my arms start to hurt but thats about it for me. I sit up straight all the time and I run maybe once a week. lol.
I get more pain in my right leg than anything. nothin' else ever hurts. I think it's because I use my bass so much in some of our songs. I've been trying to cut back lately.
