K, well Ive been playing for 3 years, and im getting bored of all these boring latin beats Ive seen, sure there hard. but in my opinion Ive never really liked some of them.
I love fast samba that is somewhat funky and upbeat. or a songo, or anything that is more upbeat then techniqecal. Anyone got any for me?

Thanks andy. I think this is the best latin grooves I have heard on the drumset. I knew Steve Gadd was a top drummer, but not that good. With some simplified footwork I may be able to do it on the drum set, but now it is real fun to play along on congas and bongo. Have spent lots of time listening to the man who created the mozambique, Pello el Afrokan. He is on youtube.
