help me pick my pedal

how durable is this



much cheaper but how will it hold up to my heavy playing

I personally like pearl pedals but if I had to get either of the ones you picked it would be the DW

The DW 5000 looks like an older model than what I use. If so, I'd opt for a newer pedal if you're worried about it holding up to your playing. Gibraltar makes great gear and are priced reasonable well. Here's a pic of my DW5000-A:

5000 for sure

the 5000 pictured was at least 10 years old, as they have revamped it 3 times and how it has the double chain.

nothing wrong with the gibralter, but the new 5000 is a better pedal, but if you were talking about the 5000 pictured, the avenger is the one i would get

dont get the pdp, have one and I hate it, hence the eliminators.

I am totally in agreement with late8 because, as he noted, the DW seems to be an older model, and I think the PDP pedal looks like a low end double pedal.

I'd say either the 5000, or check out the Gibraltar Avenger II....I have them and they are reasonably priced, and quite nice also.

I think it would be easier to help on the choice if we knew were you looking at the 5000 in the pic specifically or a new 5000.

if that one specifically go with the avenger, if it is a new 5000 get it.

I like the Pearl pedals too but I guess the newer version of the DW 5000 would be my choice.
