Drum Schools

Hey gang, this is my first post on here.

I've been looking into some schools to go to for drums, mainly rock/contemporary drums. I've had a few friends of mine tell me I should look into trying to be a studio musician of some sort. I'd really like to go out to LA for this, and so far I have it narrowed down to Musicians Institute (MI) and LA Music Academy. I was wondering if any of you have any experience with these schools and if they would be helpful in finding me a job after I finish whatever degree I decide to go for. Any help/advice/info on this would be much appreciated.

i had a look into the MI (not heard of the other one) when i was look at unis. I think that isone of the places i am going to apply to next year. I personally thought it looked really good, and some friends of mine have known 2 people who went there and say they are both amazing drummers.
