    I recently came across this 1960's ludwig black oyster pearl kit.
    8x12 club date
    14x20 club date
    16x16 classic maple

    Oh man, that is awesome! When my brother was in high school, he had a Black Oyster Pearl kit.

    Yes, it's kinda of a strange kit though, with the 12 and 20 being a club date and the 16 being a classic maple, plus it came with a 70's Ludwig 9x13 tom that had been recovered in black oyster pearl.
    I'm thinking about trading it for a Sonor 2007 kit in a black laquer finish like this one.

    Those are actually Ludwig legs, I'm not sure what the tom holder is.

    I only have one kit, I sold these to pay for My Premier Signia kit.
    I traded a Mapex Meridian birch for these. You see, I'm a drum illusionist, I only appear to have many kits, but like magic, if you learn the secrets, it's really quite easy to be a drum illusionist.
