Default Best MIDI to USB Interface?

I just picked up a Roland TD6 Electronic Drum Set. I was just wondering what the best (if there even is a best) MIDI to USB interface is out there. Been looking at a Roland Edirol MIDI Interface on Ebay.

The three I like most are the zoom r16, presonus firepod, and phonic 808.(which I own) They are all worth researching, but i'm loving the fact that mine has all types of connectivity including midi support. One thing to watch for is driver support for the operating system you have on your computer. If drivers aren't available, you're wasting your time getting the device.

Maybe I worded it wrong, I am looking at something like this.

One question though. With this I am able to record and trigger each drum on a separate track for quantizing?

That I can't be certain of. It looks like a unit to computer connector, but how many tracks you can use I wouldn't be able to tell without testing one out first. If you can try and return it if it doesn't work like you are thinking, then it's worth the $.

TB, they are all pretty similar. The issue with using a cable type interface is that they don't always have hardware built in to deal with lag issues. So you need to have a pretty speedy PC and high end sound card. At least that's what I was told when I was shopping around a few months ago.

Otherwise you can go with something like this
