Very nice Spazz, but we will have to have pic in order to verify this purchase (just another way of saying, "Pics, or it didn't happen").

I was practicing flams earlier. Might put on some music and play along a little later.

Played to Hendrix, Cream, Procol Harum and Jack Bruce for about an hour, then practiced Zepplin's "4 Sticks" with two different patterns. Removed my second kick, anticipating the arrival of my order of the world's cheapest double kick pedals. I'd rather not use them but curiosity blah, blah, blah...

Removed the "secondary", left-side 22"x14" tuned higher than my primary Sonor 22"x18" so I could tell the difference.

I'm enjoying a rare day off on a Sunday. I've been playing the same venue most every Sunday for going on close to 3 years now. No gig today because of the Holiday!

    So....

I relined one of my ATA road cases for my kit. The carpet had come unglued a year or two ago...but I didn't worry much about it. The drums in it were older...and I didn't have the tender-love-and-care itch that I have now. I also had to re-cut some of the dividers to fit the new Pearls. So....I re-cut them, making the drums fit perfect...and re-carpeted the inside today.

Time for beer, homeade onion soup, grilled streak, grilled taters.......and FOOTBALL!

(back to the same 'ol grind tomorrow!)

I greased the bearings and pushrods in the old slinger-king and reassembled. Tomorrow it goes on the kit to see how well it works.
