Just saw this marko. Congrats on the occasion of your first child! It's a lot of work, and there are many sleepless nights along the way (not just early in their life), but it's worth every minute. My 2 are in their 20's now, and are pretty much my best friends. I get as much advice from them as they get from me now!

Hey guys. She was born on Monday at 9:17am. Man, what a crazy 6 days it's been. Just now getting around to hit the forums. Whew! I'll post pics in a bit. She's adorable!
Thanks. While I am a fan of the Oakland Raiders my wife will not allow me to tell people that she's named after the great coach John Madden, which she is not, but I think it's funny. We wanted something original but not weird. Mackay comes from my wife's great grandfather who was named Mack. I never met him but she says he was the nicest guy on earth. And based on how her grandfather (his son) is now I don't doubt it.
hey marko, the other day i read that you use a 20'' kick and got my curiosity up of how it sounds in a heavy band. It sounds great!. i like 'taking law in our own hands'. the ending is cool. I don't think i've ever a 20'' kick used in such heavy music but it really stands out

Thank you so much man. I appreciate that. I love the 20" kick. It sounds amazing. It's not loud enough in an un-mic'd situation with a metal band but then again the 22" I used before wasn't that much better in that situation either.
All my drums are small for a metal guy. My toms are 10" and 14". They have no issues un-mic'd though. They really cut through the music nicely. The kit sounds great mic'd too. My snare is a 13x6.5" maple.
"Law" has been our closer for a while now. Well, except for the couple of times we've closed with Baby Got Back.
