    Question Semi-cut Cymbals

I HAVE FOUND SOME "PAISTE 502" CRASH CYMBALS, WITH 2 SMOOTH CUTS (IN SEMI-CIRCLE FORM ) IN THE PERIMETER.

DO THEY OFFER SOMETHING SPECIAL TO THE EAR OR DECAY ?

    DOES ANYBODY KNOW ?

Maggas, I've seen this before. It definitely affects the sound of the cymbal but to what degree, it's hard to say. Ultimately, all that matters is whether or not "you" like the sound of the cymbal or not.
