Default Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

    ok guys...
i used to be a huge My Chemical Romance fan, then they kinda dropped off the face of the earth. now theyre back with this new album, which is a good album, but theyre missing their drummer, Bob Bryar, as of a year or so ago. im wondering now...who drummed on the new album? did they use Bob's tracks? i cant seem to find an answer anywhere...

Big MCR fan here. John Miceli, who plays for Meat Loaf and has played for a lot of other bands, did most of the drums. Another session drummer named Dorian Crozier did the drumming on Bulletproof Heart. Also producer Rob Cavallo did the drums on The Kids From Yesterday. Their current touring drummer is Michael Pedicone from The Bled; no one's sure if he's permanent yet though.

Yeah, I've at least seen the name Dorian Crozier pop up a bit as a session guy. I think he also played for The Rembrandts or something.

I'm amazed at how much this band has grown over the years. I was a huge fan of them around 6 years ago, and their last two albums have both been impressive.

The Black Parade was epic. The new album is also impressive. I especially dig Na Na Na, Bulletproof Heart, and The Only Hope For Me Is You.

Back to why im revisiting this thread...i've seen some live videos on Youtube, both fan-made and from their channel, and it just seems like the energy they had in the past is gone. Particularly Teenagers. thats always been a live favorite of mine, and idk, sumthin about it just strikes me as odd. any other fans of the band feel the same way, or am i just missing Bob?
