Every year since he was elected to Governor, Arnold knows how to deliver a Hollywood type production for the yearly Christmas tree lighting ceremony held at the state capitol where I work. With his last term as Gov. about to end, this years production is no exception.



There's three huge Big Screen TVs set up for those unable to see the 6' + Gov.

The excitment that Arnold's presense brings to the capitol will be missed. The line of tourist that line up next to his office entrance everyday to take photos of a closed door will be a memory of the past.

Yup. Arnold is a class act. He is the exception rather than the norm as far as politicians go. But lets face facts, he is a millionaire through all of his movies that he has been in, and he can afford to donate his salary and buy a lear jet. I was stating that the costs of all these arrangements are through the roof and passed on to the taxpayers more often than not.

Arnold's style is fitting for California...after all, it is Hollywood. I think he will be missed also. California is gotta be the hardest state to govern.

I'm still surprised how a immigrant with conservative values can marry into the Kennedy family (known for generations of strong democratic politicians). Then, if that wasn't enough, get the job as the governor for the most liberal state in the nation. The guy is crazy !
