Here ya go. Got the DW 8000's off of ebay, the throne at a second hand retro shop, the rack used off of CL, and the Morgan Rose snare on clearance at GC. The rack was REALLY rough when I traded for it, really suprised at how well it cleaned up. I took some before pics, but it appears the wife deleted them, not very happy about that
Heres a look at my basement with 2 of my drum sets and my buddies gear....love it
Very cool crosspoint! I like the retro throne. Sounds like that rack was kind of a diamond in the rough. Congrats on the new additions.
congrats and nice set.

Good buys but that rack doesn't suit the Peal name LOL
Not sure about that throne...but the snare looks pretty cool!
Cool stuff CP. That throne looks uncomfortable.
I am currently suffering from gear acquisition syndrome. Will trade soul for drum gear. Donations accepted.

Congrats on your new gear. The throne looks to me like it was a biker - doctor's exam stool.
Congrats on the new gear!

loving the snare!

I go to my local drum shop and purchase my sticks. I like to touch them before I buy them ;-)

Awesome snare, I played on a Rose at GC and thought it sounded great. Set looks cool too man.
I definitely like the look of the throne, very rustic, could do without the wheels though, that might mess you up a bit.

Thanks guys. The thone is actually meant to be a bar stool, it will extend pretty tall and it was bought new at a Harley Dealership, it is very comoratable. The rack was definately a diamond in the rought, it took alot of work to get it to where it is now, but yes, it still does not deserve to hold Pearl toms LOL
CrossPoint
Lots of nice gear there - the Pearl drums a looking good.
I have the very same MR Sig snare - I bought it a couple of years ago and I use it with my Renown setup sometimes. It's a very good snare drum - SS - Green & the glow in the dark Aliens add a nice touch. I have an Aquarian New Oleans Special batter on it and they're clear around the outer edge. The SS Green shell shines through - alien-like haha, kind of cool. It's one solid snare & for the $$$ value I don't think you can beat it (except with a drum stick). You say you got it "clearance"....that's even better.
Enjoy all your new stuff
Cheers,

Great gear! Way to get the most out of the used sources plus Harley and GC finds!
Let us know how the snare sounds. Looks great, but have not played one.
Also, interested in how you will find the Harley bar stool as a drum throne. Drum thrones may get more of a work out than a bar stool (that said, perhaps depends on the bar and the person sitting)...

Crosspoint, that throne looks BEEFY! and as long as its comfortable as you say it will probably last a very long time..I had a very un-comfortable throne as a kid..I made do with, Get This...a old time Milk can, you know the kind that the farmers put the milk in to take to market..I put a taped on pillow on it and the extra benefit was it double for carrying my sticks and such..surprising it was the right height! now thats innovation even as a thirteen year old.
Enjoy the Music!

BE COUNTED!
I'd be way more concerned with the wheels on the throne.
It would be Exit Stage Left (or off the back of the stage) in a hurry for me
It all looks great man. Love the snare especially.

The snare is sick. I played it some more today and can set it up for about any type of music. Without the moongel, it has alot of overtones, it actually sounds EXACTLY like the snare drum in Until the Whole World Hears by Casting Crowns, and with the moongel, it is tamed way down, I'm loving it. As for the wheels on thrown, I have not had it out anywhere, it has only been sat on in my basement on carpet, if I take it out, I will have to remove the wheels LOL. The milk can for a throne, wow, those things are pretty tall, expecially after you get a pillow taped to the top!
