Major withdrawals. Very glad it is back. We had "thunder snow" in (US) DC area last night, traffic insanity, then no Drum Chat. In a word (or sound), "Aargh". All's well again with the world now.

I was doing a windows recovery yesterday and it allowed me to get on for awhile, but it even quit working. I have a new computer, so the recovery took about half a minute, and I'm not going to lose anything if I have to restore rather then recover. Is that something I should do? Sounds like you know what's going on.
Actually I'm a computer network specialist and I was just giving a little tip about DNS route caching.

The problem that happened isn't a pure DNS failure but loosing a switching equipment in a network mean that you need good registered backup route.

    Cool Re: Login Issues

I wondered what was going on--and at least one brother DrumChatter e-mailed me at YouTube wondering what was going on!

I'm glad to see all is well and back to whatever is normal for us!

For the past couple of days all I could see was this from my phone

I was getting ready to comment on one of Xsabers YouTube vids to ask him if it was just me. I did a Google search and found a topic on another drum forum discussing the issue. Thank you Su_admin for the info over there.

Wow and I thought I was the only one having problems getting into the DC page.I was getting the same page as Arefish. What a relief cause I thought for sure I had lost your site and would never be able to chat with my drum buddies again.

    Hey, I have an idea...

Why don't a half dozen of us or so get together and share a phone number so we can communicate outside of Drum Chat, in case these issues arise again.

I know I have numbers for PB, RHD, 2slow and I have Frank's phone number still.

I'm willing to be a communications hub for external contact.

Or we could do an email distribution Bish. I have a few private emails and/or facebook info. Maybe we should set up a chain so people know what's going on? I'm up for it.

That's a good idea, Jesse. I like the email idea.

I was in China yesterday and couldn't get on DC. I just thought it was the Gov't controlling what I was trying to see. Hmm...now I know.

haha...Yeah, I was there in October, just last week and have to go back in March. I'll probably be there at least five times this year and a couple other countries. Goes with the job. Fortunately, it's not like this all the time though. I definitely look forward to getting onto DC when I'm away like that.
