I can't help posting it so often. There are all these threads popping up asking about the most beautiful drums and custom makers and what not.

No video yet, except for the 17 second one that's recorded horribly at the last music video shoot. I will record an adequate one as soon as I get my manager over with a camera!

IMO, one of the classiest looks possible for a drum set is a piano black finish with 24k gold hardware. OH YES

That is a spacer snare, made by British drum maker, Marcus de Mowbray! Isn't that crazy? I wrote a blog article about it once, maybe I'll copy and paste it into a new thread.

    Found this.
Tama have a lot of new finishes since last time i looked. I think this one was designed for Mike Portnoy.

Tom at TMD can make you one. Or you could go the cheaper route and just get an acrylic or a wood one with that finish. They have exotic wood laminates out the wazzoo. But what I'd love to see someone do is one up me like Johnny Barbas has.

(apologizies for the rude hand gesture.)

Full chamber kit with lights and custom graffiti. That is beautiful.

Lots of beautiful kits here. Good thing I won't have to decided between them.

But, among all the beautiful wood finishes and wild paint jobs, I think the black and chrome Tama kit really caught my eye.

There is something about the simplicity of the color and the grain of the wood that makes me drool. I LOVE this kit!!
