Looks and sounds like to me that the little washer, which is probably a locking type washer broke that holds another piece of linkage, that pulls up on the snares.
When I went to take the snares off by using the latch i noticed its not secure at all. There is nothing around my kit I can see that fell off other then this little black metal washer thats bent to crap. Im waiting for a reply from Dale's but I was hoping the other 3007 owner can shed a little light, maybe show what it should look like.

I can still turn on/off the snar3es but the latch is not secured in place by anything. The metal washer is just a plain washer. There is no way this thing holds it in place. Something is missing im guessing. The only thing I could find near my kit were these two things. Dont know if it has anything to do with the snare.

My gess is the piece on the right is supposed to fit into a notch to hold the peg in place. I can't check my 3007 snare until tonight though. I've never had any problems...
when you got a chance can you please check and post a pic? that greay piece seems to be way to big to fit on the pin.
Like I said in your other thread, dont lose those pieces the one is a lock that holds your throwoff lever in place.
Sorry, wasn't able to make it to the studio tonight. I wish I could have my drums at home sometimes...
i also know that e ring to be called a lock washer so yea thats probably why your lever isnt secured..
do you have a slot on the trow off
if yes it goes there to lock it
pm me if you still have trouble
