    Cool bringing your attention to

A while ago it was suggested that instead of the "junior member", "member", "senior member" levels that they should be more advanced, and possibly have a graphic with them. Now I understand that this would be difficult to some degree, however it is as if the idea was just forgotten, so I am here to resuggest it, put a vote forward, and try and "encourage" drummer and what ever other moderators are involved to set this up.

Liar! You know you want special recognition for your insane number of posts compared to the rest of us mortals! We are not worthy to be considered in the same league as you, oh great one

Dude, don't you know that when you post a poll you have to have a box that says something like "Crazy left the best/most important/my favorite option out"? Just wait, you'll get more responces like that than anything else.

I think we should just leave things the way they are. I can go to anyone's profile and see how long they've been a member and how many posts they have (that's what I go by). I honestly never look at the ranking..........

...and let me be the first. I don't want a drum kit I want an amp. Everytime I add a thousand posts to my total, I get another half stack. Pretty soon I'll have a Van Halenesque wall of sound!

I voted for the RD one hahaha. I would like the Kit idea but it would be extremely hard i think.

The graphics kit idea would be very difficult to do, but I don't know I've seen on other forums (dare I say I've ventured to other forums) that there are like a certain number of stars as well as the post numbers and a special name. So I don't know since it's a drum forum maybe something like for every ranking, (100, 500, 1000, 2000 posts etc.) you get like a drumstick or something. So then you could have like 5 sticks by your name or something to that effect.

For the name it could be something like "Grand Master Drummer" or something or even something like a famous drummers name "John Bonham Level." Just ideas to throw out there. The only problem with having names like that for posting is that obviously posting has nothing to do with the skill of your drumming.

Amp, that would be cool but I don't think the number of your posts on an internet forum has any relation to your real life drumming skill... Some people could feel bad or even go insane working to ge to that level, and then possibly kill themselves once they get to 200 posts and haven't achieved a John Bonham style on their home set.

    Cool bringing your attention to...

Glad to see one of the choices was the suggestion I made about building a set...

however, I see the point some people have made about the number of posts not necessarily relating to one's drumming ability. (RD, take note!--and btw, keep in mind we drummers appreciate good axe men, bro'!)

I am also a member of a GasBuddies website (the one that posts gasoline prices in the U. S. and Canada)...and I noticed each level had a different colored car for a number of posts...and the kit-building idea is a variation on their points system.
