So impressed! Just....wow! Nice job.
I have not had these set up for a long while, they do sound great, I also re sprayed the clear, wet sanded and polished them so they are more sparkly now.

So impressed! Just....wow! Nice job.
Cut it large and kick it into place!
Looks like an awful lot of work, but well worth it I'd say. It looks great!
That's crazy good. That's more than a project...
Phenominal job, SF!
It sure would be nice to see updated pics of the kit now that you have resprayed and polished them.
Concerning the Masterworks kit and the stave shell kit, have you posted pics of the finished project?
I, too, was happy to see this thread moved up. I'm new here and hadn't seen it before.
Again, hats off to your workmanship.

Thanks, they still sound great. I really don't know if the sound changed a bit or not, my ears are not machines. I may have lost a little resonance by added another ply, but they are such a great drum to start with I am not concerned. I guess I will listen with my eyes lol.

Ok this deserves yet another bump. What a fantastic job, I think those are some of the prettiest drums I've set eyes on!
Thanks Stomper. Unfortunately they don't get much use these days. Side effect of owning several kits. Still a great kit which I doubt I will part with.
