    I have not had these set up for a long while, they do sound great, I also re sprayed the clear, wet sanded and polished them so they are more sparkly now.

    It sure would be nice to see updated pics of the kit now that you have resprayed and polished them.

    Concerning the Masterworks kit and the stave shell kit, have you posted pics of the finished project?

    I, too, was happy to see this thread moved up. I'm new here and hadn't seen it before.

    Again, hats off to your workmanship.

    Thanks, they still sound great. I really don't know if the sound changed a bit or not, my ears are not machines. I may have lost a little resonance by added another ply, but they are such a great drum to start with I am not concerned. I guess I will listen with my eyes lol.

    Thanks Stomper. Unfortunately they don't get much use these days. Side effect of owning several kits. Still a great kit which I doubt I will part with.
