Pics would be very helpful. My first set was a percussion plus, it served me well. I know I have had some parts on HH stands that just wouldn't budge. Have you tried unscrewing the rod? just a thought.
hi, i have a semi-used hi hat cymbal sleeve that i want to change. i have a crappy percussion plus cheapo hi hat stand (upgrading soon). anyways, the only thing is, the cymbal sleeve on the hi hat stand WILL NOT COME OFF!! there's no screws,etc... holding it down in place, talk about me breaking my arm trying to get it off, but it will not move an inch.. literally im in a pickle, though im not totally sure you're even supposed to change that particular sleeve for the hi hat stand, cuz it came with my kit. im thinking maybe it isnt supposed to be changed, but i just want to be careful. but yes my cstands need to be changed but i can just slip one on right?
Thanks, Ethan
