I saw them in Drum Mag not too long ago, was on their site a few days ago. I really like the sizes they all come in.

They had the hype machine working for months. Got sick of them talking about who was playing their drums, how awesome the drums sounded, yet, no one was ever able to produce an actual non eq'd/compressed/effected drum sound.

I saw a drummer playing them at a show I went to a few weeks ago. The band was Straight Line Stitch. They were mic'd and it was a loud metal show so I can really tell you how they sounded. But they sure did look good!

I think everything looks promising. Only problem I have at the moment is that its basically an offshoot of people who have left ddrum and set up on their own. I'm thinking we might see the same QC issues that plagued some of the ddrum lines. I'm prepared to be surprised of course, but I think its mostly going to be hype.

I would HOPE that they are saying to themselves "Let's be better than ddrum!" since they were there for those quality control issues...if that's the case.

The drums look sick. Chameleon Ash with the black hardware. NICE!

My take is that I hope they are decent drums. It's always good to have options, and at the prices I've seen them, they would be a good addition to all the lower mid-level stuff out there already.

I've had issues with lug nuts and lug quality...also shell wrap peeling, etc. for seemingly no good reason.

Are these problems resolved now or do they still have them?

I don't have the set anymore.

It was actually my bass player's brother's set, so I was taking SUPER good care of it and being careful since he loaned it for shows, etc.

They look really good, maybe they are a company that will handle ddrum's high end or low end, kind of like the dw to pdp relationship just unknown yet which will be on the high and low side. But how do they sound is the thing..

I think they will be a big contender very soon... it looks like they will over take Ddrum eventually, lets hope that the QC will keep up to good standards, and please post again if you hear anything new from the US side, because I am sure there are a few guys in here who want to know more

I am friends of friends with some of the Crush guys. Ddrum is right here in Florida not too far from where I live.

The way I understand it is that Ddrum made some changes a few years ago, and as a result, their quality suffered significantly. Many of the core group that started Ddrum were unhappy with the new direction and decided to leave and develope Crush, striving to put the quality back into production that Ddrum left behind.

Everyone at the G.C. in Tampa is thrilled about what Crush is doing, based on personal relationships they have with Crush and Ddrum alike.

I thought about getting the Ash set but I wanted a little high quality so I went with the Tama Superstars...

    That kit sounds wonderful!

I'll be looking into Crush for my next kit. I love my mapex, but I think I'll have to look at mapex and crush when I got to buy a new kit!
