Very interesting indeed. I especially liked hearing back on which drummers used a click track and which ones didn't- for the longest time I had been under the impression it was an expectation of anyone using a studio to learn it.

Interesting. But the author doesn't realise that time obeys the laws of Bonham!

Wow, that's interesting.
So true BWB!
It's a very interesting article, and like Russ, I was under the impression that artists no longer had an option while in studio. It's nice to know that not everyone is on a click track, although I must confess that when I first started playing along to songs, some of the variations in tempo threw me a bit. It was a nuance that I had to get used to, as I was just trying to be rock solid with my timing.

I know that Korn does not use a click. I had read somewhere that they told Ray Luzier he wasn't going to "screw this record up by using a click". They told him Jon Davis was his click track!
So itchie, how did the kick sound?
