    Default Heading to Okinawa, Japan

I just thought I'd let you guys know that I am heading to Okinawa, Japan in the morning to spend a couple of weeks with my daughter and her family. I'm sure I'll still find time to get online from time to time, but I will be a little more scarce for the next 2 week. I'll be a little busy hugging grandchildren!

Very exciting! Okinawa is a place I always wanted to visit due to it's famed history with martial arts. I hope you have a blast.

Pastor Bob, you're headed to my place of birth. I spent 17 years of my life there and I appreciate the cultural experience my parents provided me. As an foreign born American, I had a tough time accepting that I was NOT born in the U.S. but when I left the island, I have come to appreciate my roots.

I miss the beautiful beaches, white sand and warm ocean water. The Okinawan's are friendly and giving people. Have a great safe and wonder time re-uniting with your daughter and her family!
