Hey guys, I am looking to relocate from NH to Florida soon and was wondering what you guys do for your practice spaces? I notice just about all houses in my price range do not have basements, or attics and are usually very close to other house so how do you guys practice daily or every other day even? Hate to have to get an e-kit just to practice, I guess a decent garage would work but I imagine you would have to soundproof the snot out of it which is costly as all get out.

I live in Ft Lauderdale. Yes the housing market down here is expensive and No basements down here I haven't seen one being so close to sea level. Playing down here is a problem I love in a townhouse and have to really limit my volume. I practice during the day only and never hit hard at all and I supplement with an e kit for extended practice. Im hoping to move to a free standing house so I'm not attached to anyone else. That might be a couple of years though. I already have plans in my head for a home studio.
