Default Pics of my ludwig element jazz kit

    Hi again drummers,

I just turned my ludwig element 6 peice set into a 4 peice jazz kit and I must say I love it better than the 6 peice. I posted pics in my drummerboy60 site. I am still trying to learn how to transfer pics from photo bucket to here. Enjoy!

    Keep drumming

Ah yes, thanks I just took a peek at your albums in your profile. That is a very nice finish, in fact I believe it's my favorite from the Element series period. To grab a pic from pb, what you're gonna want to do is copy the [img] code and paste that into your post. That will make the forums embed it here.

Glad to hear the newer "jazz" setup is working out for you drummerboy! I admit I felt my weaknesses almost instantly show when I downsized, it was a new feeling I had not yet experienced and took some adjustment. The same could be said for a 4pc player who suddenly steps up to a 7 or larger, you just gotta learn to roll with the punches so to speak. Enjoy the new setup.

What's the difference between the Ludwig Element and Epic series? Anyone know? I know that the Epic's that I'm paying off have 2 inner plies of birch, 2 centre plies of maple, and two outer plies of birch.....is that the same with the Element or is it all birch?

From my understanding and read the ludwig element series is all birch.

I am glad to see guys re-discovering the four piece set-up.

Also glad to see interest in Ludwig..."The most famous name on drums"

I'd love to have a little Joe Morello type set-up in Ludwig Silver Sparkle. Ahh, perhaps someday!

    all the best...

Nice looking set there drummerboy60 I am not a Ludwig fan not that I dislike them it is just that I never had a chance to even play on one. Always played Pearls but that sure is a nice finish. Congrats and keep on drumming.
