If I wanted to keep in contact with old friends I would of done it by phone. I don't need new friends that I don't know. Most of my old friends are dead or don't use fb.

If you don't know them, then they kind of aren't friends.

Some people don't understand what FB is all about. No big deal.

What I am trying to say. I like to meet people in person then from there I decide if we are going to be friends or not.

i sorta view facebook as a "necessary evil" i have a lot of friends from a lot of different points in my life (which was all over the place for a while). its the only way i can keep in touch with some of them. that being said it does WAY more then i want it to and it can be a huge P.I.T.A. to use at times.

Mark, on behalf of DrumBum, thank you! I don't believe they can add friends through a group account though. Only through individual users.

I really hated FB..until a month ago when I was bored and looking for a game to play.
Now I have updated my profile and I'm in the process of turning the news feed off for all those people that I don't want to know every minute business of their lives.
It can be fun, but in small doses.

That being said, Liked. And "friend" me if you want. I put BlueSky as an alternate name.

(and I sent a friend request, Mark.)
