    Default Hello!

Hi, I thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm from England and I've been playing drums for a year on a weird budget kit from China and I have to say I haven't ever enjoyed myself as much as I do when I'm behind the kit! Unfortunately, I still don't know much about the actual drums themselves - I just like hitting them!

I listen to a relatively broad spectrum of music (in comparison to those I know), generally alternative and punk through to metal and classic rock. Some of the drummers that I really enjoy listening to are Sean Kinney and Chad Smith and I really enjoy their styles of playing.

I'm here looking for friendly help and tips on drumming techniques and the like and also just to chat music.

Welcome Ethel (interesting user name you have there)! Glad you're here! You'll meet a lot of great people here with valuable information about drums and drumming........

BTW, I lived in England! I was in the military and lived in Potton, Bedford and then lived on the base, RAF Chicksands. Love it there! My daughter was born in England @ RAF Lakenheath.
