Alesis is good if you're converting an acoustic to an electronic kit, ie just using the module and seperate brand triggers. Between these two kits, based on my trust for Roland over the reported issues with some of Alesis' products- i'd get the td4.

Between those two .. I would go with the TD4 a great kit.. although personally I would look at the yamaha's .. I like the heads a little better. dtxpress iv 2 .. get the advanced .. the 3 zone snare is really nice .. but again .. if your set on one of those two.. the TD4..

Man, I play the older Alesis DM5's, and even I would say go for the Roland TD4's. A better quality kit in my opinion.

Wow Roland is a monster in Electronics Drum set. Thanks for your help.
Welcome to the boards, fellow Dominican!
As for the two choices, Roland always beats Alesis. Always.
