Pretty cool. I think ballerina outfits would have been more appropriate.

No really, very cool, innovative stuff.

Love it! Went and checked your videos too. You guys are awesome. You should also check out an Aussie duo called The Bird who have been doing something sort of similar, except with keyboards and drums. They're awesome to see live. Ben their drummer also used to play in a percussion trio called Pablo Percusso.

Oh my $@$+#E that was awesome! Really got into the song, had an intricate rig for the song, and the jam was great. Good to see those new DRT triggers getting used, I had heard ddrum coming out with some new ones to replace their block shaped red ones. Anyways, great job guys.

Wow cheers for watching guys..... @drumbledore yeah we checked out the bird guys a while back, definitely an influence.... and of course jojo mayer is the king with nerve.... Ideally my set up would be as acoustic as his, on their new vimeo videos... [ame="http://vimeo.com/10048959"]Nerve in the studio recording 'catachresis' on Vimeo[/ame]

but without the triggers and relative silence of the mesh heads you just can't loop effectively. I'm trying to be a drummer and a dj at the same time... but i'm still learning the most effective ways of doing this whilst still giving a decent performance. Maybe some percussion??

@isaac yeah i agree... i didn't even think i liked dubtep until we started imitating it... I think it's gonna start going more glitchy/break/sample orientated as i get to grips with some new effects and start learning about plug ins.

I'm really really happy with the first drop on the tiger video.... and i'm trying to figure out why people have enjoyed the first video more than the second.... if you guys have any ideas please let me know... as self indulgent as this project is i really want muso's heads and people in general to get a kick out of it.

    thanks again for listening.

p.s. more outfit ideas welcome.... i'm not wearing tutu tho sorry.

    John :-)

the wobble is there i promise.... maybe just on the sample in the breakdown for the tiger video....

....I've just thrown together a quick apc mix, i use some of the same effects when i loop the kit with chris.... here you can at least see what i'm doing at bit more clearly...

Quantic sounded great man, I dig your sound all the way. Is wobble that sorta scratchy buzz sound added in?

sadly there isn't much ableton action in this one but i got some really constructive feedback on here before so yeah... more to come soon, thanks for watching. (the sounds were built in ableton session drums)

(obviously If anyone needs a drummer give me a shout too)

    Cheers,
