    Default Paiste Hats

I am a Paiste freak, however, they are way expensive lol. I'm stuck between a few of these hats that I've heard alot about and are around my affordable price. Help me out please.

it depends on what genre of music you play.
if it's metal than the rudes would be your best bet.

The 2002's are definatly more, hmm, well rounded?

But the Rudes are more along the line of Z customs, meaning they would be a great accent piece, or a great metal/hard rock piece

I would personally go with the 2002 Sound Edge hats out of those. I have the Alpha Sound Edge hats and absolutely love them.

I was thinking about getting the AAX sabain pack, but, i checked out paiste, and i love their sound better then sabain. I want to buy the 201 bronze cymbal pack, what do you guys think of that pack? you think its about the same as the AAX?

    No.
probably the closest thing to the AAX's would be either the alpha's or rudes.

noo, the 201 are way down there, paistes lower line is somewhere around this, from lower to higher

101 brass, 201 bronze, pst 3 brass, pst 5 bronze , alpha then all the higher lines

All Paiste bronze alloy is supposed to sound good all the time because it's their specialty material.

I wouldnt say rudes, maybe AAX metal might be rude, but rude is more along the lines of a Z custom, heavy hitting, heavy sound, you know

The AAX are along hte lines of A customs, and id say the signature alloys
