Easy songs you love to play

I'm a "play along" guy, usually hooking an amp up to my laptop and going onto iTunes so I can play along to whatever I feel like listening too. I throw in some more complex stuff (lately I can't get enough of playing "Stairway" - just can't get that damn fill down lol!) But I also like to put on really easy tunes and spice em up a bit. When I say easy, I'm talking about tunes that have pretty much the same beat to the entire song. I mustn't be the only one so I figured I'd see what easy songs all of you like to play. My two most played easy tunes are:

Michael Jackson - Billie Jean
Johnny Cash - Folsom Prison Blues (love trying to make the drums sound like an old steam engine pushing along...at least that's the way I hear it)

Every now and then I love to play along to AC/DC. Simple stuff, but nobody can ever play it like Rudd. I enjoy adding my own flavor to the tunes, but still staying under the Phil Rudd ideology (no frills, no fills. Sometimes all you need is a strong backbeat).

Most of what I play is simple as I'm still learning! However, there are some songs that I know really well now, and I tend to come back to at the end of a practise session just because it's fun to nail a track and finish playing on a high, having probably spent the previous hour repeatedly failing to get a particular kick pattern!

Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Brooklyn
AC/DC - Playin with Girls
Garbage - Stupid Girl (although this has become difficult again as I'm trying to fit the extra hat bit into the groove)

I generally like to warm-up with those kind of songs, as well as finish practice with one or two. I always like to start and end practice with a positive feeling rather than jump right into something I may struggle with and have it put me in a "mood" the rest of the time at the kit.

I will do something like:

Fortunate Son -CCR
Listen To Her Heart - Tom Petty
Stacy's Mom - Fountains of Wayne
Buddy Holly - Weezer

Some great choices - I'm going to be stealing some of these song ideas for my practice tonight. Good times...I've been looking for something new to try out. I've exhausted my ipod (or rather, I've grown bored with it) and I always wind up pulling up the same songs on YouTube or iTunes.

I usually try to play along to hard stuff or my band's demos to work up my chops, so I really don't have a big list of songs...

I know most of your tunes and I bow to you if they seem easy haha! Then again, I suppose anything seems easy when practiced enough.
