    Default New (to me) e-kit

My Roland HD-1 just arrived today! I bought it used last week from GC. At $350 I think I got a great deal (would have been $600+ new). The main purpose for getting it was so I can practice earlier in the morning and later in the evening without disturbing my family/neighbors. So far I'm loving it...one setting lets you use the hi hat pedal as a second kick pedal so I can practice double bass for the first time in years (my double pedal broke a long time ago and I never got a new one).

    Pics later!

Congrats on the new e-kit yohin! Being able to practice/play more without stressing the neighbors or family is good. Looking forward to the pics.

That really is a great deal, congrats on the new pickup. Sounds like just what you needed to stay in the game and keep your skills sharp.

Congrats yohin! I am currently looking at an e- kit to get more practice in for the same reasons. Looking at an Elesis
I play, Gretsch Catalina Birch, 7 piece in the vintage sunburst finish.

Looks great buddy.. Seems to fit well, looks real playable too(if I was a lefty) so that's always a bonus. Can you turn one of those cymbal pads into a ride? It bears an almost identical resemblence to the hd-4's..

Yep...one's a crash and one's a ride. And if you smack it really hard it'll give you a ride bell sound. There's also one setting that lets you make it a china.
