I bought mine at Best Buy...insurance was worth it. ZERO deductable, no questions asked, switched out right in the store. I had an old iPhone 3G, well my kids decided to wash it for me. Yeah, time to replace it lol. But even after being dunked in water, it still worked. The only thing that was really shot was the speakers. And no, I didn't have an Otter Box.
As far as the battery life goes, I have an iPhone4 now, and the battery life lasts a good while. Depending on how much you game or surf the web I would think that it would drain any battery. But I had a couple friends who had Droids and the batteries seemed to be much worse that the iPhone's. You Tube is no problem, and it's not just that carrier that doesn't support Flash, it's an Apple thing, they don't support Flash.
As far as user friendly, you can't beat the iPhone. I can't speak on the other being "more powerful"...not sure what you mean by that. The iPhone does everything I need it to with ease. And I know that I'm not even cracking the surface on its capabilities.
In short, and IMHO, the iPhone is for me, and since I got my first one a few years ago, I have never wanted to even try another brand...the next time I get another phone, it will be the next iPhone!
