    Default Roland Percussion Controllers

I'm Specifically looking at the HPD10/15 and/or the Octopad SPD-30.

So I have been searching online and I'm looking for people using Roland Percussion Controllers during a gig. All that I can find are demos and although they are very impressive, I'd like to see how it translates to a live setting combined with a real band. I'm looking for situations where the controller is used as the primary instrument in a setup and not a secondary controller off to the side used in sound effects (which is the closest I can find).

The HPD10 and 15 look like they have so much potential to eliminate a ton of equipment in a setup. In the right hands, it could give your band a VERY unique sound.

As for the Octopad, I don't see it as a stand alone instrument, but I could see a lot of potential of having an Octopad and a few triggers attached and let that be all for the gig.

Does anyone use them at all and have any videos of you playing with a band?

    Thanks,

    Tan
