Acoustic to Electronic??

anyone know the dirt on using triggers with a roland drum module?
i have a couple of ddrum triggers on my acoustic kit, but sensitivity problems and my vast lack of knowledge on drum brain details, parameters, and adjustments make it a real slow process.

any help would be most appreciated!!

p.s. its a roland td 7 turbo, was new for a great price. just had to download the manual.
