Yeah that would be better on the ears. How are you these days, tintinitis still bothering you man. Hope it goes away cause life with ears ringing is no fun. I had em but I am ok now. I quit smoking but that doesn't mean it is the cause for all who have this problem.

2slow, I don't think I have ever asked this question..how different of a feel is it to hit the e-drums? with tech. the way it is I can imagine you can make it sound good..but the feel of actually hitting the heads and cymbals. just curious

Very nice 2S. Adam and I were goofing around on a TD-9 kit at a GC a few weeks ago. The Rolands are cool kits and have decent feel with the mesh heads. Hope it works out.

Marty, it's different kinda like playing a marching snare drum and the rubber cymbals are very different. It takes a different mind set to play e drums. I like them, but some do and some don't ! I say find a set you can try and try em out !

Fabulous kit there there 2 slow! If you don't mind me asking, how much approx did you lay out for a kit like that? I'm seriously considering one like it in next years budget.

    all the best...

Fabulous kit! I absolutely love my TD-12, but it now stays firmly as a practice kit in the spare room. I gigged it for 2 years with my originals band, but I found it almost as long to put up and take down as an acoustic, even with workarounds for all the wiring, etc. Also there were great gigs and not-so-great ones as regards the sound (using the various venues' PAs), so eventually I gave up and bought an acoustic, to which I'll probably add one of the new Alesis percussion pads just to keep in with the more popular electronic sounds.
