Some people think he has all of those drum to show off,
but he actually has all those drums because ha plays a lot of melodies and
he needs the different sounds. He's a great drummer!!

How many of these epic DW kits, with the multiple kick drums and organic looking overhead racks, does he have? I thought he had one, but seeing the picture that Rich posted I know now he has at least 3.

From what I remember from a Modern Drummer interview with his roadie at that time (Ray Wilburn? I think his name was?) Terry has one kit in Europe to cover doing clinic snd gigs in those countries, one in I think in Japan to cover South East Asia, one in North America and a couple of more. But that interview was from a few years back, so it could be different now.

Yes Terry, we get it. You don't play drums, you play music (through drums).

The only two constants I have are DW and Zildjian.

there needs to be a bigger rug for it. When I went to one of his clinics he was using a set like the one in the background. Looks like those side kicks are all cradled.

I've recently started re-learning a couple U.K. songs I used to play. Man have my chops slipped away. Doing Alaska/Time to kill , and Presto Vivance/In the Dead of Night from the Live Night After Night Album. A heck of a challenge to say the least.

Even the title track from the UK album "Danger Money" is a good challenge.

Not so involved musically, but it's good to see Terry playing one of his old set-ups here:

Nothing to Lose, I used to play that song in one of the bands I was in. Definitely one of the easier songs they did drumming wise.

I have to say my favorite performances of his are on the instrumental side projects...Bozzio Levin Stevens (both albums) and Polytown. Super creative and musical parts and you can see how he uses this huge setup very well.

I had the privilege of helping setup his monster.

I like and don't like his drumming. I get it, it's musical.. but he's so far out there into left field. . .

But I'd kill to own one of those kits just to own. Cause that's a lot of GAS.
