Cozy Powell was with the Jeff Beck Group for two albums; the second, released in 1972, had a song titled ICE CREAM CAKES.
I played that song in a band during the late '70s and really enjoyed it.

    RIP, Cozy.

You are so right! Gary Driscoll was an amazing drummer. He had such warmth and feel.

I was so happy as a young drummer when I learned this intro, and back then it was one kick and a single pedal. I still play t that way today.
