Brief Summary: Born in Michigan on 17th August 1965, Steve began playing the snare drum in a highshool band as a fourth grader. He moved to Atlanta in 1987 and became good friends with Chris and Ritchie Robinson from the soon to be "Black Crowes". The Crowes lost their drummer to a rival band and Steve was asked to sit in on a recording demo of Mr Crowes Garden for A&M records. He then played for the Black Crowes until 2001 through 9 albums before leaving the band and relocating to LA. In 2005 he rejoined the Black Crowes and the band reformed. In 2004 he toured with the Stereophonics and has also played with Warren Zevon, Jack Cassady, Joe Firstman, John Corbett, Bo Bice and Brothers of the Southland to main a few.
Other Facts: He usually plays an acrylic Ludwig 7 piece. Steve is a passionate and creative drummer who definately deserves a mention. As of last month he can be heard on Nashville national radio hosting "Steve Gormans Sports on Sunday".
