Steel ddrum diode snare?

Hello I'm looking in to buying a ddrum diode 14x6 steel snare drum shell.
1st off I thought diode was acrylic, but I have found a decryption in the web that mentions a steel diode snare. Also I want to know how many lugs this particular snare has. I am looking to switch out hardware on my maple dios snare to this shell, but I'm lacking some info. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!

It has 8 lugs, or 16 mini lugs. I don't think you would have an issue swapping out the lugs from your maple snare, because they look like they would fit just fine on the other snare.

ddrum is good about getting back to you on questions about their products.
I emailed them about getting a matching floor tom for a out of production model and they not only responded within 24 hours, they gave me the number of a place that had what I was looking for.
