I did the same thing. I went to the local music store and bought a long drum key that was about 3" long and has a Tee handle. It works great. Sorry I don't have the name of the key cause I threw away the packaging.
I bought a used Remo key tuned djmebe. It did not come with a tuning key. A regular drum key works, but is too short to be used efficiently. What would you suggest?
Thanks in advance.
Jack

Not for fine-tuning but it works so darn quick. I have three of them.
