Hey that sounds good to me..always looking for something tried and tested that works and gosh knows harley owners would NEVER use an inferior product on their bikes! thanks for the tip!
I know everyone has their preference on what they use to clean their equipment with but I just found something that works really good on chrome parts.
I especially like how it works on cast chrome hoops adn lugs.
This is not a strong polish for cutting rust or pits and the like, but it does an awesome job to polish the chrome up nice and clean AND it adds some protection against moisture.
I will say that I've used this for a couple years on the show chrome on my Road King and it does NOT scratch your chrome of leave that spiderweb look. So I tried it on the drum parts since I had to disassemble my kit and I'm in love with it.
It's Harley Davidson Brite Chrome Cleaner. Product ID: 93600031
I know harley stuff is usually expensive, but this is only around $10 for a 5.3 oz. tube. You can get it at any Harley dealer.
Another thing I like about it is how it smells.
Just throwing this out there in case anyone is interested.
